INSTITUTE OF TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS

The Institute of Transport and Logistics has been insuring transport specialists’ training for more than 50 years. Highly qualified teaching and research academic staff enabled institute to get State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology awarded in 2004, Prize of the President of Ukraine for Young Scientists awarded in 2012, three Presidential Grants for Talented Youth, Grant of the President of Ukraine for Support of Scientific Research by Young Scientists as well as five Scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. It has become a significant contribution in the context of the University intention to become a research institution as well as for the recognition of the university within scientific and educational environment of Ukraine.

Due to the staff efforts focused on young people development the students of the institute have won prizes through their participation in international scientifically-practical conferences, student research and national contests (six times for the last five years). They have also been awarded “Zavtra.ua” scholarships.

Aimed at training highly qualified staff the University Specialized Academic Boards are responsible for awarding Doctor’s and PhD’s degrees in the following specialities: «Railway Rolling Stock and Train Traction» and «Industrial Transport».
