Law Faculty is one of the most powerful centers of legal and humanitarian education in the region. Almost 25 years it has been training highly-qualified lawyers for the needs of the region and the state. The main task of the faculty is to prepare well-educated, professionally trained, not ordinary thinking specialists who can contribute to the law and order in the country in the best way.
In 2016 a new specialization "European Law" was introduced as part of educational programs for Bachelors and Masters in Law. Within the Master’s program on History and Archaeology, educational and scientific program "History" was actually created from the very beginning. A postgraduate studies have been established for all specialties represented at the Faculty: "Law", "History and Archaeology", "Philosophy", "Cultural Science".
Since 2004 on the basis of the Department of World History and History of Ukraine the Specialized academic board with the right to consider and conduct defence of dissertations to obtain the degree of Ph.D in Historical Sciences has been operating.
The faculty has modern educational and methodological base for comprehensive training of professionals, namely, lawyers, historians, philosophers and specialists documentalists (documentation workers). A Legal Clinic with free civil legal aid to the population is operating on the basis of the faculty.

Research trends: editing and publishing of the collected scientific works «Relevant Problems of Law: Theory and Practice». It was registered in the International scientometric database «Index Copernicus International» in 2013; publication of the collected works on the results of the traditional annual students’ research conferences, which made up 14 volumes for the last 5 years.
