Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and Donetsk Press Club signed a Memorandum aimed at cooperation, exchange of information and experience within the respective functions and powers of the Parties, implementation of scientific, practical and educational activities in the field of information and education, promotion of social cohesion, sustainable development and innovation.
The purpose of this Memorandum is to jointly work with the Parties to achieve the purpose of the Memorandum, which is carried out in the format of preparing and implementing joint events, projects and programs, creating spaces for dialogue, professional communication, and the work of higher education students, scholars and practitioners to promote media literacy, information about Ukraine, and professional training of journalism students to work under martial law.
Areas of cooperation:
- dissemination of media literacy and knowledge of information hygiene among higher education students;
- dissemination of media literacy and knowledge of information hygiene among higher education students;
- exchange of information and methodological materials, monitoring results related to the subject of the memorandum;
- conducting joint consultations, research, and implementing projects (including those funded by grants) aimed at developing the media sector and improving the quality of professional journalism;
- disseminating information about each other’s activities, decisions, recommendations, and successes to the media and their target audiences for educational purposes.
