Lecturers and students of the Departments of Pharmacy, Production and Technology, Chemical Engineering and Ecology discussed the possibilities of the Micromine Origin & Beyond Academic Network in teaching the disciplines of the educational programs “Ecology”, “Mining” and “Civil Security” in the framework of cooperation with Micromine Pty Ltd (Australia).
Micromine software is used for exploration and mining design, offering integrated tools for modeling, evaluation, design, optimization, and planning. The participants of the event considered the possibilities of modeling the spread of polythene during mineral development, as well as determining the impact of pollution from sludge ponds and tailings ponds in the Sievierodonetsk-Lysychansk agglomeration on aquifer water quality.
They also discussed tools for modeling, assessing, and designing the production of Ukraine’s fuel and energy complex, including the mining industry.
