Representatives of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University took part in the regional seminar-meeting on the development of physical education and sports in the academic year 2023-2024. The event, dedicated to the problem of sedentary lifestyle of the younger generation, was organized by the Luhansk Regional Department of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Vadym Stetsenko, Chairman of the Committee, presented the Strategy for the Development of Physical Education and Sports for Students. Seminars, webinars, and workshops with the participation of experts are offered to engage students in physical activity.
The introduction of new technologies aimed at improving the quantity and quality of physical activity, adapted to the current conditions of Ukrainian educational institutions, will help to increase the adaptive and functional capabilities of young people.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Human Health Vadym Tarasov and the Acting Head of the Department of Human Health and Physical Education Olena Tkachuk.
