Scientists’ work on the development of the fashion industry in wartime

Teachers of the Department of Light Industry Technologies together with students took part in the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Textile and Fashion Technologies KyivTex&Fashion.

The students of the program “Design Technologies, Construction and Modern Finishing of Light Industry Products” of the specialty 182 Light Industry Technologies made presentations.

Anastasia Martynenko, 2nd year bachelor student (supervisor – PhD, Associate Professor Halyna Ripka) made a presentation: Research on the problems of military uniforms for women servicewomen. The 2nd year bachelor student Tetiana Filippova (supervisor – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Yevhen Masniev) made a presentation: Features of corporate clothing design for higher education institutions. 1st year bachelor students Vitalii Nizin and Dmytro Ihnatov (supervisor – PhD, Associate Professor Oleksandr Sarana) made a presentation: Research on the current state of running sock manufacturing issues.

The conference was organized by: Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Akakia Tsereteli Kutaisi State University, Georgia; Polytechnic University, Albania; International Hellenic University, Greece; Kherson National Technical University, Ukraine; Khmelnytsky National University, Ukraine.

The conference resulted in four agreements to sign bilateral partnership and cooperation agreements. Halyna Ripka, Head of the Department of Light Industry Technologies, expressed her sincere gratitude to the organizers of the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference and hopes for further fruitful cooperation.
