Students and faculty of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship and the Department of Pharmacy, Production and Technology attended a guest lecture on “Pharmacy in Global Healthcare: Substandard and Counterfeit Medicines” organized by the Analytical Center of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University.
The speaker was Robin Schreiber, a qualified and licensed German pharmacist, a postgraduate student at the Institute of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kanazawa University (Japan).
The lecture addressed important issues related to the pharmaceutical sector and healthcare in the world: availability of quality medicines, functioning of supply chains, harm caused by counterfeit medicines, and effective ways to combat this problem at the global level.
