An event on non-formal education for future cultural studies

Students and faculty of the Department of Political and Cultural Studies of the School of Law met with a researcher at the Narva Museum (SA Narva Muuseum, Estonia), Yuliia Khlystun, who is also a PhD student at the department.

The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to listen to a lecture on “Semiotic Interpretation of Zoomorphic Symbols in Church Art,” which is one of the areas of research of the young scientist, and to learn more about the significance of animal images in religion and their deep meaning. This meeting was another one of the non-formal education events at the department aimed at forming and expanding the competencies of future cultural studies specialists.
