In the Transparency Ranking, which demonstrates the best universities by references in the best Google Scholar profiles (https://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Scholar), Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University ranked 40th among Ukrainian universities (number of citations – 27670). Last year’s figure was 42nd (number of citations – 18094).
The Transparency Ranking is a component of the Webometrics Ranking, reflects the commitment of universities to the principles of open science and takes into account the citation of the first 310 author profiles in Google Scholar minus the top 20. At the request of many universities, it was decided to temporarily not use Google Scholar Citations (GSC) institutional profiles in this edition.
