The webinar “Data Science and Tools for Big Data” was held as part of the Horizon project HEI4S3-RM. Scientists from Spain and Greece presented their reports.
Miguel Angel Rodríguez Roman, Associate Professor at the Department of Computational Sciences and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Huelva, spoke about big data concepts, their history, causes, architecture, and related problems. He focused on the most popular platforms and tools for working with big data and presented LLM/Jupyter notebooks – learning assistants for code and machine learning.
Antonios Koufou, a researcher at the Hephaestus Laboratory of the Department of Chemistry at the International and Hellenic University, gave a lecture on the application of big data and machine learning, in particular, in occupational safety and computational chemistry.
