Students help public organization to record Russian war crimes against children

The Department of Foreign Philology and Translation is pleased to announce that cooperation with the Almenda Center for Civic Education, which began in December 2023 with the participation of our junior students in the Discussion on the Reintegration of Youth from the Temporarily Occupied Territories, continued with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/kJbe8WP85mvCosY8/). The activities of the Almenda Center for Human Rights are aimed at facilitating the reintegration of the population of the de-occupied territories and laying the foundations for guarantees of non-recurrence.

The organization is engaged in documenting war crimes of the Russian Federation, and is also actively represented in the field of national and international advocacy for the rights of children and youth in the temporarily occupied territories. Currently, the team is actively working on a series of investigations into how Russian universities are implementing a program that indoctrinates Ukrainian children to show the world how the Kremlin’s actions aimed at eradicating the Ukrainian identity of children from the Temporarily Occupied Territory and their Russification are thoughtful, comprehensive and consistent (read more here: almenda.org).

Therefore, we believe that the parties to the signed Memorandum will have fruitful and inspired cooperation in the field of training qualified personnel for the reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories.
