Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University scientists are actively involved in the activities carried out by local governments, as modern restoration of the territories affected by Russian military aggression is impossible without scientific support.
For a long time now, the University has been fruitfully cooperating with the Sievierodonetsk City Military Administration in finding ways to restore the territory of the Sievierodonetsk community. The work of the commission to consider compensation for destroyed property as a result of hostilities, terrorist acts and sabotage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is important in this area.
The commission includes experts from the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University.
The results of a pilot project in Melitopol to record damage using satellite imagery are currently being studied, which will allow to assess the extent of building destruction and help further the work of the commission to provide compensation for property located in the temporarily occupied territories.
