Expanding intercultural horizons and networking of future social workers

Higher education applicants were trained under the international credit academic mobility program “Health, Sport & Psychology” of The Open University (Great Britain). During the course of 180 hours of study (6 ECTS credits), students took the following courses: “Digital Innovations in Social Assistance and Social Work”, “Application of Social Work Law to Asylum and Immigration”, “Application of Social Work Law to Children and Families”, “Decision Trees and Dealing with Uncertainty”, “Exploring Career Mentoring and Coaching”, etc. This provided them with the opportunity not only to deepen their knowledge, acquire the necessary competencies and gain new experience, but also opened up unique intercultural horizons for the participants, allowing them to expand their network and improve in their future profession.
