A series of webinars on “Startup Creation and Expansion and Business Planning” was held as part of the Horizon HEI4S3-RM project.
The course of lectures was delivered by Rocío Díaz Pereira, Director of La Lonja Tech, Spain. Rocío Díaz Pereira presented the acceleration program and other services offered by La Lonja Tech. She defined a startup and outlined its main characteristics, and spoke about business models based on real examples of well-known companies.
The Director of La Lonja Tech described in detail the Lean startup scale-up methodology, which involves analyzing problems and market research, finding the best solution and accelerating a startup, and highlighted the basic principles of the Lean methodology.
Rocío Díaz Pereira taught the students how to determine the size of the market, gave successful examples of market expansion, and identified the main problems during this process. The director of La Lonja Tech drew the audience’s attention to working with competitors and clients, innovative accounting.
