The VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Accounting, Analytical, Organizational and Economic Support for Regional Development” was held, organized by the Department of Accounting and Taxation and the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship. The co-organizers of the event were the Western Ukrainian National University, Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, as well as institutions from Canada, Moldova, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, the Resource Center for Sustainable Development at the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and the Analytical Center of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University.
During the plenary session, scientists from the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and the Western Ukrainian National University made presentations that outlined the problem areas important for the sustainable development of the region and proposed solutions to the current challenges. The speakers included:
Maryna Melnyk, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, with a presentation on “Formation of Management Accounting Policy of an Enterprise in the Context of Digitalization”,
Olena Ptashchenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade, Western Ukrainian National University, with a report “Development of Financial Instruments for Business in the Context of Digital Inclusion”,
Inna Tatsii, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, with a presentation on “Accounting and Analytical Support for Waste Management”,
Oleksandr Olshansky, Doctor of Public Administration, Professor, Professor of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, who noted the key challenges of sustainable development of regions in the context of war.
