A regular meeting of the University Mediation Center, which operates on the basis of the Department of Psychology and Sociology, has taken place.
Family mediation specialists, members of the Association of Family Mediators of Ukraine, conducted a training webinar “Peculiarities of Mediation as a Basic Social Service” for higher education students majoring in 053 Psychology (educational program “Psychology”) of the Department of Psychology and Sociology of the Faculty of Human Health.
The webinar deepened the understanding of family mediation as a social service. The participants considered the peculiarities of family mediation as a legally systematized phenomenon, the procedure for obtaining and providing this social service, the procedure for choosing a mediator; highlighted the ways to choose mediators; provided information on receiving mediation assistance at the nearest free secondary legal aid center.
