A guest lecture on “Corporate ethics in domestic and foreign media as a factor of self-regulation and focus on a selected part of the audience” was held for all students studying in the specialty 061 “Journalism”.
The guest lecturer was Iryna Koval, acting manager of the UA:Donbas Regional Directorate, UA:PBC branch.
The lecture touched upon the basics of journalistic ethics, development of corporate codes and Suspilne’s policy of compliance with professional standards.
As a reminder, the Suspilne News website, which is one of the digital assets of Public Broadcasting, was included in the list of leaders in terms of compliance with professional standards in the preparation of news feeds, according to the results of the December monitoring* conducted by the Institute of Mass Information (IMI).
