Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University took the 50th position in the annual academic ranking of universities “Top 200 Ukraine 2024”, significantly improving its performance compared to the previous year.
For the eighteenth year in a row, the ranking of higher education institutions has been evaluated by the Center for International Projects Euroeducation together with the international group IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence.
When compiling this year’s ranking, experts took into account current trends in the development of higher education, which is in a state of profound change during the current reforms and the period of martial law. The evaluation of Ukrainian universities in 2024 in determining the Top 200 Ukraine 2024 rankings was based on the following basic principles
– ensuring openness, transparency, objectivity and independence of university rankings;
– taking into account the comprehensiveness and diversity of universities’ activities;
– priority of European integration processes.
