Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Ecology, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Iryna Hlikina took part in a 40-hour certified psychological intensive “Social Psychological Worker”, which was conducted by lecturers from Ohio University (USA), in particular, lecturer and practitioner Kerri A. Shaw (MSW, LISW-S, CHW, Community Health Worker Lead for the Ohio Alliance for Population Health).

I. Glikina improved her skills on the following topics: communication skills of a psychological worker; mind and body healing practices; basics of anatomy and physiology; basic vital signs; acute and chronic diseases; lifestyle choices – nutrition, exercise, stress; maternal and child health, child and adolescent development; age-appropriate safety, work with aging; cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills; self-help; trauma and trauma care; conflict management; oral health. COVID and smallpox; motivational interviewing; first aid.
