Journalism students of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University joined the Balkan Studies Program

Second-year students majoring in Journalism Adel-Sofiia Mulenko, Oleksandr Baranchuk and Mykyta Kondratov have joined the International Certificate Program in Balkan Studies. The program is organized annually by the Analytical Center for Balkan Studies. Tuition is free of charge for students.

The International Certificate Program in Balkan Studies will last until the end of February, 68 academic hours. The program is academic in nature and seeks to disseminate knowledge about the history and culture of the Balkan countries, to talk about current bilateral relations between Ukraine and the Balkan states, etc. As part of the program, students will attend the following topics: “Introduction to Balkan Studies”, ‘The Balkans in the Twentieth Century’, ‘The Wars of Yugoslavia’, ‘European Integration Processes in the Balkans’, ‘From the History of Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia’, ‘Macedonian Identity: From the Past to the Present’, ‘The Ottomans in the Balkans’, and others.
