Olga Chorna, associate professor of the FUIB department, took part in the training “Communities and Local Self-Government in the course Democracy: from Theory to Practice”.
The global experience of civic education shows that this process is much more effective when interactive teaching methods are used.
To ensure that the course instructors mastered these methods, IFES conducted a series of trainings on interactive teaching methods for teachers from across the country. The event was organized by the Association of Civic Education Teachers with the support of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and British aid from the UK government.
