Teachers of the Department of Logistics Management and Transport Safety took part in the 2nd International Conference “INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS: Ecology, Safety, Quality, Comfort”, which was held by National Transport University in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) is a current trend which refers to the smart management of the transport system, including improvement of road safety, processing and sharing of information to reduce congestion, optimizing freight and passenger transportation for the purpose of reducing emissions and negative environmental impact. Many countries are implementing or considering the idea of intelligent transport traffic systems, which requires scientific development and information coverage. This topic is extremely important and requires in-depth attention in today’s realities.
The conference brought together representatives of the scientific sphere of Ukraine and Europe, business and government organizations and facilitated the mutual exchange of information, ideas, and proposals between specialists.
