Mariia Shcherbyna, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic, Legal and Socio-Political Disciplines, visited the University of Siegen (Germany) as part of the Comenius Fellowship at the invitation of Dr. Tetiana Havlin, a researcher at the University of Siegen and visiting professor at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg.
During the visit, Mariia Shcherbyna worked on joint research projects with her German colleagues and also gave an open lecture on the role of Ukrainian women in volunteering to save people and animals and in resisting ecocide. The lecture attracted considerable attention from the scientific community, professors, and students interested in the social aspects of war and civilian life in Ukraine, environmental challenges, and the role of women in overcoming humanitarian and environmental crises.
