A guest lecture by Chinese specialist YANG Wenting on “Sustainable Manufacturing Management” was held at the invitation of the Department of Public Administration, Management and Marketing. The lecture reviewed the Chinese experience of sustainable development.
Manufacturing-oriented approaches to ensure sustainable transformation and support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were discussed. This knowledge helps students understand the fundamentals and principles of sustainable production and management, as well as related methods and tools, such as designing sustainable production systems, value creation and business model strategies, circular design, life cycle sustainability assessment, etc.
