On April 11, 2025, the educational space of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University hosted an event that has already gone down in the history of Ukrainian education – the first lecture in Ukraine delivered by an artificially created avatar based on artificial intelligence.
This innovative event was organized by the Department of Public Administration, Management and Marketing, opening a new page in the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process.
AI avatar Daryna gave a mini-lecture on “The Past and Future of AI Avatars”, demonstrating a new approach to the interaction between teachers and students. The event attracted a wide audience: educators from different parts of Ukraine joined it, both representatives of higher education and independent educational initiatives working outside the formal system.
