Launch of the Erasmus+ KA2 project «Transforming Higher Education through Adaptive Individual Academic Pathways and Competence-Based Interdisciplinary Learning»

On December 19-20, 2025, the Dutch Business Academy hosted the kick-off meeting of the international consortium for the implementation of the Erasmus+ project 101237008 – EduFlex – ERASMUS-EDU-2025-CBHE “Transforming Higher Education through Adaptive Individual Academic Pathways and Competence-Based Interdisciplinary Learning”.

The project aims to modernise Ukrainian higher education by introducing a scalable system of personalised and modular learning supported by digital infrastructure. EduFlex takes a student-centred approach, empowering students to create individual and interdisciplinary academic pathways in line with their career goals and labour market requirements. By integrating micro-credentials, digital badges and mobility opportunities, the project promotes modular learning, enabling students to accumulate and transfer knowledge seamlessly across institutions and countries. The project focuses on learning outcomes and competency frameworks, as well as the inclusion of employer-validated skills in curricula. EduFlex will provide Ukrainian universities with the tools to meet the diverse needs of learners, particularly migrant students, people with disabilities and war veterans in need of retraining.

During the meeting were discussed the roles and areas of responsibility were distributed among the partners, common priorities and strategic directions for work were identified, and administrative, financial, and organizational procedures necessary for effective coordination and implementation of the project.
