Centre for International Education Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University
Events:
Currently, the successful training of PhD students from the People’s Republic of China is being conducted at Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University. This cooperation on the preparation of postgraduate students was launched in 2023 under the agreement with our esteemed Chinese partner — Risen International Culture Exchange Center and its affiliate, New Western University, California.
The prestigious reputation of V. Dahl EUNU in both the educational and scientific spheres in Ukraine, as well as on the international stage, built on a strong foundation of accumulated experience and preserved academic traditions, was the key reason our Chinese partner chose our university.
For the past year, the dedicated faculty of the Department of Public Administration, Management, and Marketing have been guiding postgraduate students majoring in 073 “Management.” These students are actively engaged in research focused on crucial issues in modern management practices and innovative approaches in both the public and private sectors, particularly under the complex conditions of enterprise operations today.
The research involves an analysis of current trends in management, comparative studies of international practices, and the development of recommendations for improving management strategies at various organizational levels. This topic has recently become particularly relevant for both Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China.
As a result of these joint research efforts, academic articles have been written and submitted to scientific journals. Over the past year, postgraduate students have also participated in numerous conferences. In particular, nearly all students from the Department of Public Administration, Management, and Marketing took an active part in the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Priorities of Development in Finance, Management, and Marketing: Traditions, Models, and Perspectives.”
The combination of existing scientific potential and the academic capabilities of both countries, along with the joint training of young scientists, represents an important vector for sustainable development and cultural heritage. Educational and scientific policy plays a crucial role in developing human capital and achieving economic benefits in the form of sustainable growth and a competitive economy, which ultimately contributes to social and individual well-being, future prosperity, and an improved quality of life.
Thanks to these joint efforts, PhD students from China, along with the faculty at V. Dahl EUNU, have the opportunity to be at the forefront of modern global educational advancements. This provides them not only with the chance to study but also to understand and influence the processes taking place around them. This collaboration strengthens the relationship between the two countries, founded on the values of solidarity, cooperation, and co-creation, and fosters the exchange of ideas for the development of a better future.
