Department of work with international students

The Department of work with international students organizes the enrolment of foreign students to the University according to accredited educational programs on a contractual basis and provides their registration on the territory of Ukraine in the State Migration Service of Ukraine.

The main activities of the department are:

• paperwork, registration and issuance of invitations to study for foreign citizens;
• implementation of consultative and informative work about the registration of entry documents, cooperation with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in matters of crossing the state border by foreign applicants;
• coordination of activities with the bodies of UDMS of Ukraine in Luhansk region in matters of issuance of a temporary residence permit in Ukraine, an extension of stay in Ukraine and registration of residence;
• making contacts with embassies and consulates of Ukraine;
• cooperation with structural units of the university, which are involved in the process of providing educational services to foreign students;
• organization and apostille of state-standard graduation documents in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

The procedure for organizing the enrolment and training (internship) of foreigners and persons without citizenship

Foreigners enter the University according to accredited educational programs:

1) Three times a year, before and at the beginning of academic semesters: for obtaining the degrees of junior bachelor, bachelor, master (educational and qualification level of junior specialist, specialist);

2) During the year for postgraduate and doctoral studies;

3) During the year to study according to the programs of the preparatory faculty (department), to study the state language or language of training, as well as to obtain postgraduate education, training, internships, transfer and renewal – based on the decision of the University Admissions Committee;

The enrolment of foreigners in educational programs is possible if according to the preparatory faculties (departments) foreigners have a complete general secondary education obtained outside of Ukraine.

To enter the University, a foreigner personally or remotely submits an application to the Department in paper form.

It is added to the application:

1) a document (original and its copy) on the previously obtained educational (educational and qualification) level, on the basis of which the enrolment is possible;

2) the attachment to documents (original and its copy) to the document on the previously obtained educational (educational-qualification) level, on the basis of which the entry is possible (if any), translated into Ukrainian with notarized translation;

3) the academic certificate issued by a foreign / Ukrainian educational institution (in case of transfer or renewal to study, starting from the second year, an academic certificate is attached), translated into Ukrainian, with notarized translation;

4) the original and a copy of the document containing information on the content of the curriculum at the previous level of higher education, credits received, duration of study and academic performance (in the case of the absence of this information in the attachment to the education document), translated into the Ukrainian language, with notarized translation;

5) a copy of the passport document of a foreigner or a document certifying a person without citizenship, translated into Ukrainian, with a notarized translation;

6) health insurance policy, unless otherwise is provided by international agreements of Ukraine;

7) 4 photographs of size 30 x 40 mm;

8) a copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any);

9) a research proposal in the chosen scientific specialty or a list of published scientific papers and inventions certified in the prescribed manner at the place of work / study of the candidate in Ukrainian or English are additionally submitted upon admission to graduate school.

In addition to the admission to the doctoral program is submitted in Ukrainian or English:

– thematic plan of dissertation work for the degree of Doctor of Sciences;

– a copy of the diploma of the relevant scientific degree;

Foreigners who enroll in academic mobility programs submit documents approved by the rules of admission to the University and / or by the requirements of international programs and / or agreements under which academic mobility is implemented.

To become a student of, you need to take five steps

First step. Foreigners who want to study at VDEUNU, should apply to a higher education institution to receive an invitation. This year, education for foreigners in educational institutions of Ukraine is carried out full-time and / or in a distance. For both face-to-face and distance enrollment, it is necessary to receive an invitation to study. The invitation is valid for 1 year.

The second step. Pay for information and consulting support services of the state enterprise authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the website https://studyinukraine.gov.ua/en/pay/.

The next step for a foreigner is to prepare documents: legalization and translation of documents on previous education, passport, certificate, medical certificate, etc.

You can apply for a visa to the Embassy of Ukraine abroad at https://mfa.gov.ua/en/consular-affairs. A visa is also required for remote admission. Then the person takes the entrance exams, in particular remotely in his/her country and begins the studies.
