The three-day event included a training with a representative of the Dutch municipality of Utrecht (Netherlands) on “Project Management and Sources of Funding for Both Business and Public Institutions.” In particular, Mr. Mykola explained the difference between a project and ordinary operating activities, outlined the key features of a project in general and what a project should be like to be successful.
During the presentation, the speaker spoke about the various sources of funding that Ukrainian organizations and communities can apply for and showed a website where you can look for grant funding.
The presentation also featured various projects of the Municipality of Utrecht in various fields: construction, space organization, architecture, social and humanitarian spheres, ecology, etc. In particular, the application of participatory approaches and the identification of residents’ opinions in the implementation of municipal projects, as well as examples of cooperation in the direction of sustainable development of communities and regions were noted.
