Another meeting of the Academic Council of the University took place under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Academic Council, Rector of the University Professor Olha Porkuian.
The agenda included the following issues:
- Results of educational activities in 2021/2022 academic year and tasks for further improving the quality of education at the university.
- Personnel matters.
- Other issues.
The first issue was raised by the First Vice-Rector of the University Professor Dmytro Marchenko. The speaker said that during the last academic year, the university staff continued to fully fulfill its statutory tasks, confirming cohesion, social responsibility, patriotism and professionalism, took all possible measures to improve the quality of education, the formation of a culture of academic integrity, automation of the university’s management activities.
The academic achievements of full-time higher education students in the 2021/22 academic year, according to the results of the sessions, demonstrated a sufficiently high level of training, namely: quality (from 74 to 100 points) and success in general at the university, compared to previous years, were:

Summing up the speech, the first vice-rector said that the educational activities at the university in all components that determine the quality of higher education are carried out in compliance with the “Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG)” and in accordance with the requirements of the legislation and regulations of the university.
The discussion of the report of the First Vice-Rector was supported by the Rector of the University Prof. Olha Porkuian, Vice-Rector for Research Prof. Oleksii Tselishchev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Prof. Yevhen Ivchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Associate Professor Serhii Kudriavtsev. Head of the Department of Psychology and Sociology Prof. Yulia Bokhonkova spoke from the commission for the preparation of the draft decision of the Academic Council.
On the second issue, a personnel case was presented regarding the awarding of the academic title of Professor of the Department of Pharmacy, Production and Technology to Doctor of Technical Sciences Vadym Tarasov. By secret ballot, the applicant was granted the academic title of professor by the results of unanimous vote.
