The scheduled meeting of the Academic Council of the University was chaired by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Rector of the University, Professor Olha Porkuian.
The first issue on the agenda was addressed by the First Vice-Rector, Prof. Dmytro Marchenko. The speaker reported on the results of the admission campaign, characterized its features and outlined the tasks for organizing the next admission campaign, taking into account the current situation in the country.
It was noted that the university provided proper explanatory and consulting work among applicants and the public through the media and social networks both during the year and directly during the submission of applications and documents by applicants.
According to the results of the 2022 admission campaign, 710 people were enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs (669 people in 2021) and 829 people were enrolled in master’s degree programs (352 people in 2021). In total, 1623 people were enrolled (in 2021 – 1204 people).
The discussion of the report was attended by the Rector of the University, Prof. Olha Porkuian, Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Oleksii Tselishchev, Deputy Secretary of the Admissions Committee, Associate Professor Yevhen Masniev. The Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Electronics, Associate Professor Serhii Mytrokhin spoke on behalf of the committee for the preparation of the draft decision of the Academic Council.
Also, the Chairman of the Academic Council, Rector of the University, Prof. Olha Porkuian provided information on the new location of the university in Kyiv and the prospects for further organization of the university’s activities.
