Uliana Dudnik, a 3rd year student of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, majoring in 053 Psychology, received a certificate and a photo of her participation in the STP Summer Academy as part of the Study Tours to Poland exchange program.
STP Academy is one of the first Polish cyclical programs aimed at young people from Eastern Europe The STP took place in Poland, in the city of Murzyn, Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The visit to Poland was organized by the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Creativity.
As part of an intensive several-day stay organized by Polish non-governmental organizations, the participants had the opportunity to learn more about modern Poland. They took part in lectures, workshops, cultural events and seminars on the history and present of the Republic of Poland, as well as on the development of competencies related to dialogue and conflict resolution, self-organization, etc. that are particularly important in the current socio-political situation.
The essence of the educational exchange program was to inspire its participants to lead active lives and become conscious citizens. Particular emphasis was placed on familiarizing them with the non-governmental sector and its place in society.
Contact with other group members from different countries became a valuable source of inspiration for the student. Therefore, the Academy as a way of integrating young people from Eastern European countries gave her the opportunity to get acquainted not only with Poland, but also with its neighboring countries, which is one of the essential aspects of the STP Program.
