Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University scientists took part in the international convention for English language teachers TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), which was held in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Overall, the convention brought together more than three thousand English language teaching specialists, researchers and education professionals from 65 countries. Over the course of 4 days, more than 900 presentations were made on a variety of topics related to teaching English. The aim of the convention was to exchange views and experiences on innovative language teaching methods, curriculum development, trends and developments with a focus on technology, best administrative practices and international partnerships.
The convention was attended by Acting Head of the Department of Germanic and Romance Philology and Translation Alona Bovt and Head of the International Projects and Programs Department Olena Seredina.
