According to an independent international ranking, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University was included in the group of universities with high scientific potential, ranking 45th among Ukrainian higher education institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and 12th among Kyiv higher education institutions (Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University was moved to Kyiv by order of the Ministry of Education and Science). The rating involved 444 organizations from Ukraine.
The Ukrainian National H-index Ranking 2023 is an independent international ranking aimed at assessing the scientific productivity of scientists, research groups and organizations in different countries based on the consolidated Hirsch index.
The ranking takes into account the total Hirsch index of scientific institutions and higher education institutions of Ukraine, taking into account the information from scientometric databases and platforms such as Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. Based on these data, the National H-index Ranking indicator and the corresponding ranked position in the ranking are formed.
