A guest lecture was held in the format of a webinar on “Conflict Prediction, Resolution and Prevention” within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Department of Psychology and Sociology of the Faculty of Human Health of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Philosophy of the Faculty of Law, Humanities and Social Sciences of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University.
The webinar was hosted by Olha Losievska, Doctor of Psychology, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Sociology of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, Head of the University Mediation Center, and students of the specialty 053 Psychology.
The students of the two higher education institutions were able to communicate productively with each other.
During the webinar, the issues of conflict and styles of behavior in conflict were discussed. The importance of developing active listening skills in a conflict situation, as well as soft-skills, was emphasized. Such cooperation with partner universities makes it possible to share experience, effective practices of working with higher education students and take care of a safe educational environment.
