The staff of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Ecology took part in the online event “Presentation of the Global Green Chemistry Innovation and Networking Program (GreenChem) in Ukraine”.
The event was aimed at discussing new opportunities related to green chemistry in Ukraine. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale University (USA), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Center for Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production, and representatives of companies, organizations, associations, NGOs, financial institutions and research institutes.
The Program is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and implemented by Yale University in close collaboration with partners in the six targeted beneficiary countries (Indonesia, Jordan, Peru, Serbia, Uganda, and Ukraine).
