The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is re-launching the Master’s degree program in Journalism. The focus of this educational program is the specifics of a journalist’s activity in the context of reintegration of the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.
Thus, the university is systematically preparing for the de-occupation of the territories captured by the Russian aggressor in order to meet the need for specialists with special training to work in the information space of the liberated regions.
In order to make the new educational and professional program of real practical importance, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences held a roundtable discussion “Journalism in the de-occupied territories”. The event was co-organized by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and a number of NGOs: “The Commission on Journalistic Ethics, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, and the Student Journalism Platform. The discussion was moderated by a well-known journalist and TV host Andriy Kulikov.
The participants emphasized the need to hold such meetings on a regular basis.
