This annual conference, which was held for the tenth time, brought together leading scholars and practitioners, with nearly 30 experts from more than ten different countries (Estonia, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Turkey, Italy, etc.) who presented and discussed the following topics
- Problems of the refugee crisis: socio-economic aspects.
- Integration of Ukrainian war refugees: scientific approach versus practice.
- Social cohesion and state security. Where does the border lie?
- Best practices of integration in the European Union and beyond.
Scientists emphasized that the crises of recent years, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, have affected all areas of activity, including integration, so it is necessary to unite, find opportunities and identify the challenges the world is facing in creating a more united society.
A lot of attention was paid to the problem of Ukrainian war refugees and their adaptation to a foreign-speaking society.
