Higher education applicants and teachers of the Department of Information Technology and Programming took part in the seminar “Testing and Security of WiFi Networks”, which was organized as part of the department’s participation in the project “Cybersecurity of Critical Infrastructure of Ukraine”.
Within an hour, the participants got acquainted with the list of existing threats in WiFi networks, as well as ways to counter them. Particular attention was paid to software for preventing data leakage in WiFi networks, as well as the peculiarities of the transition to the WPA3 standard and work in the 6 GHz band.
The students got acquainted with practical cases of secure use of wireless communication networks in information systems of various applications.
