The future psychologist took the course “Psychology of Men and Masculinity” with an American teacher

Volodymyr Moroz, a student of the second (master’s) level of the specialty 053 Psychology, educational program “Psychology” of the Department of Psychology and Sociology of the Faculty of Human Health, took the author’s course “Psychology of Men and Masculinity” and received a certificate.

The course was taught by Dr. Darryl Hill, a Canadian-American psychologist, professor of psychology and women’s, gender and sexuality studies at the College of Staten Island and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Dr. Darly Hill is a researcher in the history and philosophy of psychology, historical and sociological analysis of sexuality and race.

The idea of the project from American professors is to “donate their own course” to Ukrainian students. The name of the initiative is Flying University for Ukrainian Students (FUUS) for bachelor’s and master’s students in the humanities and related social sciences through an open call for applications. Funding is provided by the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York.

For students, this is an opportunity to study with professors from leading US colleges and universities and a prospect of improving academic English to access international scholarships and further education, and to gain additional professional competencies in non-formal education.
