Students majoring in Psychology, participants of the IDEA CREATIVE TEAM project, together with a teacher of the Department of Psychology and Sociology of the Faculty of Human Health, visited the Coordination Center for Assistance to IDPs from Luhansk Oblast at the Svativsk City Military Administration of the Svativsk District of Luhansk Oblast, located in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, and conducted a training seminar for internally displaced persons on the topic: “Development of Stress and Resilience Skills in IDPs in Situations of Life Changes.” The event was attended by about 35 IDPs.
During the training, the participants learned skills to cope with stress and fear, learned methods of regulating emotional states and psychological recovery, relieved tension in the body, raised their mood and distracted from bad thoughts using art therapy, breathing exercises and other psychotherapeutic practices.
