Teachers and students of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Electronics joined an online lecture by Albert Diaz-Guilera, Professor of Condensed Matter Physics and Researcher in Complex Systems at the University of Barcelona, entitled “Dynamics on complex networks”, which was held on the Ukraine Global Faculty online platform.
The lecture was devoted to the study of dynamic processes occurring in complex networks. The students learned about the spread of diseases, diffusion of information, and the dynamics of public opinion formation, among other phenomena. The lecture covered mathematical models of the spread of these processes, as well as computational methods for their modeling and analysis. The lecture expanded the participants’ understanding of how dynamic processes work in complex networks, which will allow them to apply this knowledge in real-world situations in the future.
