Students and teachers of the Department of International Economics and Tourism of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University attended a guest lecture on “Virtual Tourism. A new type of niche tourism”.
The speaker of the event was Olena Cherneha, a leader of virtual tourism, Doctor of Philosophy, tourism expert and practitioner in the formation of a tourist product and digital tourist and cultural product, reputation and branding of the territory; founder of the Public Organization “Digitalization of Tourism and Culture”.
The event organically complements the disciplines “Innovative Technologies in Tourism” (master’s level), “Organization of Excursions”, “Information Technologies in Tourism”, “Tourism Local History”, “Tourism Geography” (bachelor’s level).
