Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University Oksana Serhienko has successfully completed the ReallyEnglish course, which was conducted by the university in partnership with the Royal Holloway University of London (RHUL) as part of the Twinning Initiative project with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Support of Education, Science and Sport in partnership with the Association of British Universities and Cormack Consultancy Group.
After assessing the participants’ English language proficiency, the course was customized for each of them, taking into account their preferences regarding the topics of the lessons. During the course of certain exercises, the system automatically offered to check the level of English proficiency in order to adjust the proposed tasks in the most effective way.
Each lesson was divided into 3 parts of 20 minutes each, so that during each of them you could improve not only your grammar knowledge, but also your reading and listening skills.
The course covered a wide range of topics that were designed to develop the essential skills needed when using English in the international workplace.
