Academic Council and Rector’s Office meetings considered the budget, personnel issues, peculiarities of the admission campaign, and accreditation of PhD programs.

Another meeting of the Academic Council and the University Administration was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Academic Council, Rector of the University, Prof. Olha Porkuian.

The first issue of the meeting of the Academic Council on the implementation of the budget in 2022 and the university budget for 2023 was presented by the chief accountant of the university, Associate Professor Liubov Bielousova. The speaker reported on the financial condition of the university in 2022, noting that the financing of the university’s general fund from the state budget has undergone significant downward changes, which affected the formation of the university’s budget for 2022.

The funds of the general and special funds of the university budget were used to pay for priority expenses related to the organization of the educational process, educational and scientific activities, and the purchase of material assets. With such a significant loss of budget funds, the university maintained its financial balance only due to the fact that during the calendar year, as a displaced educational institution, it did not have to pay for energy, heating, gas supply, maintenance of dormitories, buildings, and many other mandatory expenses.

Academic Council and Rector's Office meetings considered the budget, personnel issues, peculiarities of the admission campaign, and accreditation of PhD programs.

Based on the results of the analysis of the university’s financial condition, the commission for the preparation of the draft decision of the Academic Council proposed measures aimed at implementing a policy of economical and rational use of the university’s resource potential in 2023.

The main task in this area is to maintain and increase the number of students, search for additional sources of funding for research, implement measures to preserve property resources, economical and rational consumption of energy, heat, water, gas, etc.
