The first stage of the competition of student research papers was held at the Faculty of Agriculture in accordance with the letter of the State Scientific Institution “Institute for the Modernization of Education” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 30.01.2023 № 21/08-118 “On holding the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the fields of knowledge and specialties in the academic year 2022/2023”.
The purpose of the competition is to promote the realization of the abilities of gifted students, encourage them to creative self-improvement, and to reveal and use their scientific potential. The research papers were considered in the following areas: technology of production and processing of livestock products, construction and civil engineering, agricultural engineering, and veterinary medicine.
The results of the competition:
- 3rd place – Volodymyr Shershnov, SO “Master”. Topic: “Energy feed additive in feeding dairy cows”. Scientific adviser – L.E. Berestova, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Senior Researcher;
- 3rd place – Artem Oliinyk, Master’s degree student. Theme: “Rational design of metal rod structures from the point of view of their stability”. Supervisor – O.A. Ovcharenko, Acting Head of the Department of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Land Management, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor;
- 2nd place – Andrii Labushniak, Master’s degree student. Theme: “Laparatomic ovareohysterectomy of cats in the practice of a veterinary surgeon”. Scientific adviser – Ivleva O.V., Candidate of Veterinary Sciences;
- 3rd place – Stanislav Baidachenko, Viktor Ishchenko, Master’s degree student. Theme: “Analysis of technical means of anti-erosion sowing of grain crops and their improvement”. Supervisors – Fesenko H.V., PhD, Associate Professor; Kurlov V.I., Assistant.
The commission noted that this year’s research was conducted at a high enough level, the scientific works contain many new approaches and ideas and can be the beginning of the scientific activity of students of the Faculty of Agriculture.
Following the successful presentation, the commission recommended the best works to participate in the International Student Professional Creative Competition “Agricultural Sciences and Food” in the following areas: technology of production and processing of livestock products, agroengineering.
