A meeting of teachers and students of the Department of Public Administration, Management and Marketing with a guest speaker – Professor of the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematical Education of the Christian Albrecht University of Kiel (Kiel, Germany) Hanna Chovpan.
The professor delivered a lecture on “Ukrainians Abroad – Socio-Demographic Portrait of Ukrainian Refugees, Their Intentions and Employment Prospects”.
The participants of the event learned about the peculiarities of studying, staying and working in Germany, the issue of self-selection of refugees, its peculiarities in different countries.
Hanna Chovpan spoke about the results of her research and research conducted by the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education, namely: the number of refugees in the EU countries; socio-demographic profile of a refugee; EU Directives on employment and assistance to Ukrainians; recognition of Ukrainian diplomas in other countries.
The speaker wished all Ukrainians who have been granted refugee status to return home to a peaceful and free Ukraine as soon as possible!
