Olena Karchevska, a representative of the Center for Intercultural Communications at the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, Associate Professor of Political and Cultural Studies, held a university-wide curatorial hour dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance, which is celebrated on November 16.
The topic of the meeting and subsequent discussions was “Tolerance as Mutual Respect and Peaceful Coexistence.” Higher education students joined the definition of tolerance through other categorical forms, learned about the prevailing challenges that stimulate social contradictions and conflicts, and identified segments of increased demand for tolerance in the context of military conflict.
