Liliia Martynets, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, took part in the conference “Higher Education in Turbulent Times: Towards European Networking and Integration”, which was held at the Ukrainian Center of Vytautas the Great University (Vilnius, Lithuania) with the support of the Office of the President of Lithuania and the Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania.
The conference participants were greeted by the First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė, the Rector of Vytautas the Great University Juozas Augustis, and the representative of the European Commission in Lithuania Marius Vascega, who expressed their support for Ukraine, which is going through difficult times.
The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska also delivered a welcoming speech, thanking Lithuania for its support of Ukrainian citizens and expressing hope for cooperation between the countries in the field of mental health.
The conference was dedicated to the field of education. The participants discussed many pressing topics, including: new opportunities for higher education institutions in the joint creation of the European Education and Research Area; a new higher education program; innovative and inclusive pedagogy.
