According to the statistics of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University (moved in 2022 from the occupied Luhansk region to Kyiv) is among the TOP 20 universities in Kyiv by popularity among applicants in terms of the number of applications for admission in 2023.
In terms of the number of students enrolled in 2023, the university was ranked 10th among public higher education institutions in Kyiv.
